THROUGH THE LENS

There are natural parallels and crossovers between the different media an artist explores, particularly if they are both
two dimensional. I like to let my photography and painting  talk to each other, but there's no particular criteria
or subject in the photography. Most of the time I simply arrive at a place and allow some kind of immersion to happen, and nature and its process seems to be the pull.
As with the painting it's a meeting of inner and outer, and in that way also metaphor for transience and inner light.
Selecting images or manipulating them is also not so deliberate and with my 'pick-it-up-as-I go' photographic style I am generally in an intuitive space with it.
